How many of you mums have been welcomed by the stench of your child’s stinky feet at the school gates after school? 
 
Or have you ever compared your favourite stinky cheese to your kids stinky feet?

New shoes 
This sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how many parents don’t replace their kids shoes regularly. Swapping your child’s stinky shoes for a fresh new pair is a simple but effective step to stop your childs feet being so stinky. 
 
 
Swap socks midday 
We all know how difficult it can be to get a pair of socks on your little one but it can make a huge difference. And like footwear, socks aren’t always made from breathable materials, so we recommend you change your child’s socks at least once a day and lookout out for materials like cotton and merino wool. 
 
 
Rotate shoes 
Rotate your children’s stinky shoes so they’re not worn as much, buying 2 pairs of school shoes may seem an expensive option but it will help the shoes last longer and stop stinky feet in the long run. 
 
 
Use insoles 
Insoles add another layer between your kids stinky feet and their shoes. Swapping insoles regularly will reduce the amount of sweat that reaches the shoe and help them stay fresh. 
 
 
 
Wash their shoes 
If all else fails, wash their shoes. It can take some time for them to dry but ultimately this is the best way to get rid of the bacteria. 
 
 
Let their feet breathe 
Your kids stinky feet need some air! If there’s ever a moment they can get their feet out and go barefoot, do it! This stops bacteria lingering on their feet for too long.
